Irvine, Calif. – April 17, 2012 – Gerson Lehrman Group recently launched HighTable, an online resource for professionals built on the scalability of Neudesic’s reliable Neuron-ESB platform. After evaluating several commercial and Open Source ESB options, Neuron-ESB was chosen for its ability to integrate with GLG’s existing portfolio of products and technologies.
“We needed a solution that would allow us to easily connect all of our systems,” said Jeff O’Connell, Gerson Lehrman Group’s director of engineering. “The other products were either too expensive, lacked features, or would have taken a lot more effort to implement. Neuron offered the features and flexibility we were looking for, and we were able to get up and running on our own very quickly.”
HighTable provides active and influential professionals, academics and entrepreneurs a place to collaborate around new business ideas by asking and answering questions and conducting meetings online and in-person. Neuron-ESB allowed GLG to integrate HighTable with existing systems with very little effort, providing a reliable and scalable platform to integrate myriad customer systems with back office systems.
“GLG’s systems utilize multiple technologies to connect our customers with the right people,” said Jeff O”Connell. “Neuron allowed us to forego the usual need to hire outside consultants for development. In addition, our operational costs for the Neuron-based solution have been much lower than we anticipated.”
