By default, Neuron ESB log files are created in the following directory:

<Install_Directory>\Neudesic\Neuron ESB v3\logs

Under this directory, there will be a subdirectory for each instance of Neuron ESB installed on the server.  For example, if you installed the DEFAULT instance, its logs will be stored in:

<Install_Directory>\Neudesic\Neuron ESB v3\logs\DEFAULT

And under each instance directory a new folder is created each time the Neuron ESB Service is restarted:

<Install_Directory>\Neudesic\Neuron ESB v3\logs\DEFAULT\20130917T150435

Sometimes it’s necessary to change the location where these files are stored.  To do that, open the registry editor and ADD the key (string value), and set the value to the new folder location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Neudesic\Neuron ESB v3\SystemLogFolder

The above key works for the x64 installation of Neuron ESB.  If you’re installing the x86 version, add this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Neudesic\Neuron ESB v3\SystemLogFolder

Notes!  The above changes affect all instances of Neuron ESB installed on the server – you cannot change the log file location for individual instances of Neuron ESB.  Also, you can only change the location where the instance log folders are located.  The structure of the folders (<Instance_Name><Timestamp>) will remain the same.
